Each park has its own specialty in species of animals.
Addo Elephant Park holds the world’s largest population
of elephants along with a large variety of plains game
animals. Big 5 Safari is famous for it's magnificent
lions and Big 5 and River Safari has the Big 5 and a
large variety of animals including the spectacular Cape
Buffalo. The Dunefields offers the largest coastal dune
field in the Southern Hemisphere and a chance to observe
the numerous sea birds that inhabit the shoreline, such
as the endangered Black Oysterchatchers and Damara Terns.
Dolphins and whales can be seen from the shoreline.
Meandering River Safari has the unique feature of transporting
their guests to the game reserve up the stunningly beautiful
Kariega River Estuary by riverboat, two of the rarest
antelope species, the Bontebok and Oribi can been seen.

Kikuyu Lodge offers two types of safaris,
package tours and daily rate/tour list safaris.
Package Safaris
The price quoted on a package includes daily rates as
well as the reserves indicated in the package. These
packages appeal specifically to first-time visitors
to South Africa and provide them with a cost-effective
way of getting a well rounded view of the Eastern Cape.

To have full freedom of choice when it comes
to reserves/parks, you would choose the daily rate /
tour and excursion list option. In this case you pay
the daily rate for the number of days required and the
price indicated on the price list per activity. Daily
rates quoted are for the Eastern Cape and touring is
done out of Kikuyu Lodge unless otherwise stated.

TERMS OF BUSINESS
Deposits
• 50% deposit on total cost of day fees or package
is required to confirm booking
Balance of Payment
• The safari has to
be paid for in full on the evening of the last day
Cancellations
• If you cancel more than 120 days prior to
the commencement of your safari, 50%
of your deposit will be refunded
• Less than 120 days prior to your safari –
no refund will be made
